how to care for our rugs?

Our carpets are hand made and need simple yet special care.

Gentle vacuuming, about 2-3 times a month, will help prevent dust and food crumbs from settling into the fibre.

If you are placing the carpet beneath a coffee/dining table, the fibre may settle inward. Regularly shift the carpet slightly to prevent permanent settling.

What to do in case of a spill ?

If there is a spill, immediately remove it by blotting the area using a clean and unbleached/untreated cloth (ideally a white cloth). Do not rub or scrub in the spilled area, as it will damage the carpet and spread the spill.

If there is dried residue or mud, you can gently scrub it with a dry brush and vacuum to remove any residue left.

how to store rugs ?

If you are planning to store the rug, vacuum it and then roll and wrap it with a plastic sheet or a untreated/unbleached cloth. Store in a dry and well-ventilated area.
